Seeking Marketing Coordinator

Every year, the U.S. throws away 40% of the food we produce. At the retail level, the average store loses more than $63,000 per year in expired food. Pinpoint Software is stepping up to this challenge with our flagship product, Date Check Pro. Our industry leading solution helps grocers track and prevent an average of 50-55% of that expired loss annually. The success in the grocery industry has since led us to expand into healthcare this year for improved management of facility supplies and medical device expiration dates.

The company has also leveraged strong customer relationships into the development of a second retail solution known as Taskle for efficient, mobile task management and auditing.

What our local customers say:

"Date Check Pro works as a partner to help fulfill our promise to always provide the highest quality and fresh products to our customers" – Kevin Metcalfe, Metcalfe's Markets

"Date Check Pro is not only a great partner in operations, but also a trusted consultant on our existing markdown and expired-item loss prevention strategies. They are genuine advocates for our business." – Matt Hilbrink, Raley's

About the position:

Most of the company’s growth has been driven by some element of marketing, be it content, digital ads, events, or outbound mail/email campaigns. We’ve seen how having a dedicated marketing role can accelerate this growth, and are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with energy, creativity and top-notch organizational skills to continue our trajectory.

This role will focus heavily on planning, writing copy for, and managing our content and “contact” (think out-of-the-box mailers, like a 5x7 piece with a video screen built into them) marketing campaigns. You will work directly with the CEO who runs the majority of sales.

If you’re looking for a corporate marketing world position, we probably aren’t a good fit. However, if you get excited by the opportunity to independently own creative projects and have a direct impact on their results in an environment focused on innovation and experimentation, we are just what you’re looking for.

So, what might a typical day include?

  • Plan, write, and implement quarterly content campaigns
  • Execute outbound “contact” marketing campaigns
  • Schedule weekly social media posts – including Food Pun Monday
  • Create and monitor monthly social ad campaigns
  • Build, review, and refine lead nurturing drip campaigns
  • Establish and track marketing key performance indicators
  • Oversee tradeshow and industry event planning

Now how do you get rewarded for all that hard work?

  • Salary, paid semi-monthly
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 100% employer funded short & long-term disability coverage
  • 15 days of PTO and extra time off for holidays
  • A pinball machine for when you really need a break

The final question is, are you ready to get started? Apply now and let’s talk.
